🌟 Volunteer With Holiday Ladiga Lights

Be part of Jacksonville’s newest holiday tradition! Holiday Ladiga Lights depends on dedicated volunteers to help bring magic to our community. Whether you love greeting families, supporting Santa’s Village, serving concessions, or helping along the lighted trail — there’s a place for you on our team.

We anticipate welcoming hundreds of guests each evening, and it will take a strong volunteer team to make the event shine.

We are seeking 16–20 volunteers per night to assist with event operations, guest support, and festive activities.

🎄 Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, including:

• Train operations & boarding assistance (train operator must be over 21 and possess a valid driver’s license)

• Santa’s Village helpers

• Concessions & glow-item sales

• Ticket booth & entry greeters

• Trail section hosts (Santa’s Way, Reindeer Meadow, Snowflake Alley, Candy Cane Lane, Pavilion/Bridge)

• General event support & guest assistance

🕒 Schedule & Shift Times

• Volunteers arrive between 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM depending on assignment

• Event operates 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM

• Help with clean-up and close-out after closing

You may volunteer for one night or multiple nights — whatever fits your schedule.

• Public recognition, including acknowledgment online and at a Jacksonville City Council meeting

👨‍👩‍👧 Ages & Requirements

• Ages 16+ welcome for most roles

• Teens 14–15 may volunteer with parental permission in select positions

• Adults required for train driver, ticketing, and financial-handling positions
